PS3 Story on Target

I got interviewed by Target the other day, so I might be on TV3 some Tue soon. They have a few other customer stories and they're going to ring Sony directly, so it should be interesting to watch.

I took down the PDF of the court ruling because it had my name, address and phone number. TV3 suggested it might be a good idea before the programme's screened. If you need it, let me know and I'll black out the personal bits and republish.

Otherwise, the main posts and comments for the PS3 hearing are here and here.

  2. Hi Jason,

I was really pleased to find your post as I'm getting ready to take a faulty PS3 back myself. I was wondering if you'd be able to repost your Court Ruling so I can take it with me to the store. Did you end up on Target? Don't think I've seen it.

    Thanks!

  5. Hi Jason

Do you still have a copy of that PDF? We are in a similar situation to you and would love to be able to quote your case if and when we end up at Disputes ourselves.

    Thanks!

  7. Oh - yes please!

Same issue - PS3 (hardly used really) 3 years, 2 months old - watching a movie last night and stopped. Appears to be laser reader failure.

Husband has just set off down to retailer armed with your story (hoping to scare them into repair without argument) but could we please get a copy of your court hearing to help us prep if it goes there?

    Much appreciated.
